I was very surprised by how much I fell in love with my dog, I had never been a dog person before. But anytime I am sick or lonely, he will come and lay in my bed with me, right on my pillow sometimes (he is a chiweenie, which is a chihuahua mixed with a dachsund, he weighs seventeen pounds).
