Should have known better...

My therapist has talked me into not weighing everyday.
Which I was actually able to do.
Then she talked me into actaully putting my scales away in the closet.
Lately I've noticed my jeans fitting tighter.
So I got out the scales and weighed.
Now I'm sad....nuff said:(

I understand how hard it can be to give up the scale. I weigh myself daily as well and have never been able to stop this behavior. It's the first thing I do when I wake up and that number really makes or breaks my mood for the day. I even bring it with me on vacations. I brought it on my cruise a few months ago.

I'm not sure that I have any advice, because if I were in your place and my pants were tighter, I'd break out the scale as well. I can totally empathize with you on this! Hopefully as time goes by, it will become less important (for both of us).

It's a strange, but real, world where we let our pants specify our size rather than our size specify our pants.
