10 days in....

I guess if anything I've learned now that it is going to have to be a "change of life style" rather than just "changing the way I eat for a while" that is going to have to happen to keep the weight off. And more exercise would probably help a lot.
I know now that if I just go back to my old ways the weight just comes back.
I have not weighed since the 10th and I'm planning on waiting until the 8th of September. (I like to weigh on Saturdays/and that will be closest to a month/plus its the next time I see my doctor.) But I do feel like I have probably lost some weight. I am using an app on my phone to count my calories and I am not supposed to go over 1225 a day to lose 1-1.5 a week. And since the 10th I have only gone over once and that was only by 5 calories. Most days I am below 1000.
I guess I'll just have to wait and see. But I do know I am still far from where I want to be.
And I hate myself everyday..................................................
