"Broke down again"
Aug. 30th, 2011 12:09 pmWell last week or the week before/whenever they worked on the bettle/bug they said that it was acting like the alternator was going out, but their machines said it was fine. So they just put on my badly needed back breaks and recommended that I back into any spot I part in just incase it goes dead again.
Well yesterday I drove to Geoff's house to meet Dane as he got off the bus. (although he wanted to stay there and wait for Geoff, I wanted to see him and make sure he had his phone and it was on and charged.) While I was waiting for the bus to come I contimplated rolling the windows down and turning the car off, but for some reason I just kept it running and just rolled down the passenger side window.
Well after I saw Dane I pulled out of the drive way and was driving down the street when my battery light flashed on my dash. Then it flashed a few more times, so I called R and he said for sure DO NOT turn off the car! He told me to drive straight to the shop (which is right up the street),leave the car running and go in and tell them what was going on.
So I did. And when George (the garage owner) finally got around to pulling it in the garage he turned it off and it went completely dead and would not start again at all. So it's a good thing i did not turn it off in Geoff's drive way or that I didn't go home and turn it off because it would have needed to have been towed AGAIN!
After George looked at it for a while he came to the waiting room and told me the alternator was bad and that it needed to be replaced. He said he would call around for the best price and call me back. He is fixing it today and it is going to cose over $500 but R said he would take care of it. He even said he would take his son with him later to pick it up and bring it back to me. George would normally just come and get me and give me a ride to the shop to pick it up, but my sinus infection has come back and I feel pretty bad. i know its back because I did not take most of my antibiotics. Which I did not take because you have to take them with food or they make you sick and I didn't want to eat. But I'm in a lot of sinus and headache pain so I am going to take them.
In ed news, I weighed this morning and have lost a little over a poung and a half since yesterday. I think I'm just losing water weight from my period finally ending. But I don't really care why I'm just happy to see it.
Geoff is going to keep Dane for me today due to me being sick so I will be alone all night:(
Maybe R will visit for a while when him and his sone Kyle drop off my car later. I'm starting to feel a bit better.

Go figure....

R bought the new EVO (sp?) 3D phone.
I'm here at home and he is at his house trying to figure out how to use it.
He,he its kinda funny. He is like soooo not good with anything electronic/computer like.
He just called me and said "wow I just figured out how to call someone" then he said "well not really cuz I don't know what I did". I asked him why he would buy such a complicated phone (he normally buys the most basic one they have.)
And it's because both of his boys have them and some of his employee's and I guess they are good for communication and visual communication which would come in handy on the job. R just got the 3D version because he thought it was cool! I wish I were there watching him try to figure that thing out. Not that I would do any better! I am an idiot when it comes to phones! My daughter Alli can pick up ANY phone and figure out how to do anything on it like instantly.
He almost got a smart phone which probably would have been more complicated but he didn't because it costs more by the month, not just more for the phone.
Well I'll go for now just wanted to share a little humor with youall.

I am feeling much better today.(just in case you knew at all that I haven't the last 2 days.).
Did not sleep hardly at all last night, seems to becoming a habit.
I am as fat as a cow today, yesterday and the day before.(with mother nature to help).
Well this was just a quick hello to you all, today is our city wide garage sale!
Garage sales EVERYWHERE! (except at my house because it was supposed to rain
so I got nothing ready). So I am off to find some good deals on all kinds of stuff that
I don't need! And have no room for. But it is always fun. I think I am noisier then anything
else, he he.
