Good morning all, it is a cold one here in KC, 7 outside this morning. I know I have friends that have it colder but this is our coldest day this year. And of course R has a job today.(which means he will be outside for a while and in and out most of the day.) But hey you need the money in the winter too. Not complaining about the work.
(Well I would be if I had to work out in this cold.)
I do have to get out in this and go to the doctor...kidney is still not right. But I don't have to go til 11am and the car is in the garage so It could be a lot worse.
My little guy wanted to stay at Geoff's last night so it was just me and wow I was bored to death having been here alone doing nothing all day then all evening too. I have no more laundry or house cleaning to do. I guess that is good.
I will have Dane tonight as he said yesterday he wanted to spend Friday with me. I know he misses me but he also misses his frogs! Which are just the cutest thing ever! Blue you should get one for your desk to replace Finney. They are as easy to take care of as a beta. As a matter a fact I have Danes two in a beta tank. (A big one it is 1.5 gallons.) They don't have to have all that space (as a matter a fact they came in a very small tank/bowl.) I just switched it out because we had the room and i thought they would like it. Plus the tank has led lighting you can turn on and off, which Dane thinks if just the coolest. (Not sure how the frogs feel about it?)
Ed wise I have been a complete mess. I don't know if it was the antibiotics I was on or the fact that I had to eat a bit when I took them but as of yesterday I had gained about 3-4 lbs. I spend yesterday eating fruit and some crackers and drank and drank and drank and I am down 2 overnight. So I feel better. Still not in my comfort zone but Blue made a point that my health has to come before my comfort zone right now. What bothers me is that even after that run of antibiotics my kidneys only quit hurting for like a day or two. Now it is painful again but only on one side. And evedently untreated kidney infections can lead to kidney failure, so I am not taking any chances and am going in to see the Dr. again today.
Stupid thing I know about going to the doctor but I hate thinking about being weighed not only in front of people but with all my clothes on. But at least with my weight up a bit I should avoid a lecture.(My BMI is up to 17.4 which is still low but higher then it was.) I don't really keep track of that but my doc does.
So like I said I feel some relief to see that number come down again. I have already eaten a banana today.(I have to eat something with my morning meds.) and I'm not sure what the rest of the day will hold. Lots of drinking that is for sure. (After all I do have that corner of my garage full of Sobe cases!)
Well not much else to talk about, especially since I have spent the last two days alone. (except Wed night R was over for a while.) I DVR this show that we always watch together every week called "Impractical Jokers".
it is so funny your gut gets sore watching it. I don't know what kind of satellite television you all have but it is on a channel called "Tru Tv". You should check it out if you can it is hilarious!
