New app is working

My doctor suggested on August 7th that I start using an app on my phone called "Lose It".
You put in your how tall you are and your weight and your goal weight and if you have a deadline.
And it tells you how many calories you should eat a day to achieve your goal.
And then of course you log everything you eat on your phone into this app/staying with in the calorie range that it has suggested and you are idealy supposed to lose weight.
I have tried other apps like this before and they never worked for me. But I don't think I was very dedicated.
But this time I have been and I have lost 9 lbs since I started August 7th!
I would like to lose another 18 lbs but I'm pretty sure that is unrealistic given how much of my weight that I know is due to pre menopausal hormones. But I do know that losing 9 more lbs is doable and I'm planning on really focusing on it.
I will update i a couple weeks or maybe next week when I go to the doctor if I have lost any more.
